How To Start Using the M800 Base Station (Part Number: B800-BC-2E0)
| Step 1 | Separate the M800 into two pieces by removing the smaller piece that is plugged into the back of the larger piece. |
| Step 2 | Turn the A800 terminal over and plug the small piece into the port on the bottom of the terminal. Make sure you push the small piece all the way in to make a good connection. |
| Step 3 | Plug the larger piece of the M800 base into the charging cable that originally came with your A800. |
| Step 4 | Place your terminal on the base station. |
The CM8 Communication Module (Part Number: CM8-NG-1E0) is an all-in-one cable hub for the PAX A800 terminal. It has Cat5 and multiple USB ports so you can use it to connect a pin pad, printer, or other accessory and you can even mount it under your counter to keep your space clutter-free.
How To Start Using the CM8 Only
| Step 1 | Plug the CM8 cable hub into the charging cable that originally came with your A800. |
How To Start Using the CM8 with the M800
| Step 1 | Unplug the power adapter from the charging cable that is connected to the M800. |
| Step 2 | Plug the CM8 into the M800. |
| Step 3 | Connect the power adapter that you removed in step 1 into the CM8 cable hub. |
